Default How do I get Trade Commissions?

Hello,

I'm working on getting my Vabbian armor set, and since I can't afford to pay the 7 plat per ruby, I wanted to try collecting trade commissions to turn in for the rubies. The problem I'm running into is that I've only come across two quests that offer trade commissions as rewards, is there an easier way to get trade commissions or are these quests few and far between? Or am I just going to have to bite the bullet and farm the cash to buy them?

Thanks in advance!

There's many quests that give them as rewards. You can also buy them from players if you want.

They're called Trade Contracts

Sometimes you gotta complete some other quests, so the npc's will give the quests that give trade contracts and a reward.

Buying them from players won't solve his problem: Money.

7 Contracts should pretty much add up to the price of a ruby.

Thanks for the feedback everyone I'll be keeping an eye out and revisiting some areas to look for quests.

I'm wondering here...would it be worth my time and effort to get the money and do the quests for the trade contracts so I can get my Vabbian set...or should I just farm for the money for my Primeval set? I like both sets a lot, though I do tend to lean towards the Vabbian.

I guess I'm thinking about the cost of the materials for the Vabbian and if I'll be able to quest to get all the trade contracts so I can get the rubies...or if I'll have to pay for some in the end. Sapphires/diamonds (can't remember which are needed to craft the set) are a bit more reasonable, so the trade contract turn ins would be primarily for the Rubies. The Primeval is more expensive, but the mats I have most of right now and are relatively cheap to purchase. I would just need to farm a little bit more for the gold. So I wonder if in the end the Primeval in reality actually ends up being more inexpensive than the Vabbian.

Hmm....decisions...

Thanks again!

Yeah, i got my assassin full vabbian when each gem was 2-3k ish in January, i believe it was like....close to 100k without dyes. But gems have gone up a few k(at least rubies have) so it should end up costing you more for vabbian if you plan on buying the materials
